What goes behind the making of our swings?

That’s all you can see, but is that all? Definitely not! The element of utmost importance in the making of our swings is the craftswomanship of our artisans in the factory.

Some call them ‘Karigars’, we call them magicians!

First, our women artisans undergo extensive training to hone their skills. Their craft is perfected by closely studying the process under an experienced operative, followed by repetition of the learned skillset.

Once they are ready, they begin the delicate work required to craft beautiful swings for your beautiful homes.

To begin with, 12mm cotton cords are dyed in vivid colours. Then our ‘magicians’ knot them with love and care using the macramé method.

This is done through intricate precision, with each knot forming a building block that has to be given its due attention. They are then tied around an iron ring to give the swing a solid base for you to rest on.
